Kun Incorporated manufactures the vast majority of shoulder rests used throughout the world. When it came time to upgrade its line, they teamed up with DW Products to tackle the challenge.

This renowned firm enlisted GCi to create the composites components. The design approach, performance requirements and need for high production rates all pointed to thermoplastic composites. We adapted one of our proprietary in-house processes to meet these lofty goals. It was a tremendous success. Not only did we achieve the ability for production rates in the tens of thousands, but the product went on to win numerous design awards and other accolades both inside and out of the industry.
